Integrations

Integrations connect CheckinRules to your property management system so bookings can create verifications automatically and updates can flow back to tools you already use.

Plan requirement:

PMS connections and outbound webhooks require a Starter plan or above. Free accounts see an upgrade prompt on the Integrations page.

What integrations do

  • Import bookings from OwnerRez into CheckinRules
  • Create verifications with guest contact info from the PMS
  • Optionally write verification status back to OwnerRez booking notes
  • Send webhook events to your own systems (booking created, verification completed, etc.)

Connecting OwnerRez

Go to Integrations (owners and admins only). You can connect via OAuth or a personal access token, depending on what OwnerRez provides for your account.

After connecting:

  1. Map each OwnerRez listing to a CheckinRules property (or create new properties).
  2. Configure the OwnerRez webhook URL and credentials shown in CheckinRules so booking events reach /api/webhooks/ownerrez.
  3. Run a sync or wait for webhooks—new bookings should appear as verifications.

How booking sync works

When a mapped booking arrives, CheckinRules creates a verification with the guest details OwnerRez supplies. The property's rules at that moment are snapshotted for the guest wizard. Linked properties show a PMS label in your sidebar.

If a booking updates (dates, guest contact), CheckinRules updates the verification according to your sync rules. Completed verifications are not re-opened for rule changes.

Webhooks (Starter+)

Under Integrations → Webhooks, subscribe to events such as verification completed or incident logged. Each subscription has a signing secret so your server can verify payloads.

Members and admins can view webhooks; viewers cannot access webhook settings.

Pricing note

Integrations are included on paid plans—there is no separate integration fee. See Billing for plan limits on properties and verifications.
